Sonny Koo was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1972. He is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier Law School in 2005. He has practiced exclusively in civil litigation since he was licensed in the State of California and in the Federal Courts.

Mr. Koo is a member of the State Bar of California, Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Korean American Bar Association, and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
